International Gospel Tellers (IGT) is a Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry dedicated to spreading the transformative message of the Gospel. Founded to address the need for Gospel outreach and discipleship in Galilee, Israel, our ministry serves the Jewish and Arab people of Israel. We teach believers to be rooted in God’s Word and to practice their faith daily within their communities. Promoting the truth that Jesus is the only way to salvation, having atoned for our sins on the cross and resurrected on the third day, IGT ministers lead both Jews and Arabs toward repentance and spiritual growth. Through this, they can experience the fullness of God’s forgiveness and love, and share it with others.
Peter Nasser grew up in a Christian Arab home in a small Arab village in Galilee, Israel. Growing up, knowing only the Arab culture, he didn’t immerse himself with Jewish people, so he wasn’t aware of how they lived and perceived Arab people until he moved to “the big city”- Tel-Aviv.
At age 20, facing discrimination because of his Arabic ethnicity and mistreatment following the Jewish-Arab political conflict, he left Israel with anger and despair. Peter traveled to different countries in pursuit of building his life abroad. But instead of finding himself there, God found him.
As he accepted Jesus, God healed his wounds. And as he was forgiven, he was able to forgive others. To his surprise, Peter began to love the Jewish people, and sensed that God wanted him to go back to Israel.
Returning to Israel, Peter’s journey into ministry began inspired by his own transformative encounter with Jesus. This personal experience ignited a lifelong mission to share the hope and salvation found in Christ.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Peter is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys spending time with his family, studying Scripture, and exploring the rich history and culture of Israel. His personal and professional life is a testament to his faith and dedication to serving the Lord.
Yarden was born in Ukraine to a Ukrainian Jewish father and a Ukrainian mother. Raised in both Jewish and Christian traditions, she moved to Israel at 15 and attended a religious Jewish boarding school. Her deep study of Jewish traditions and the Messiah led her to believe in Jesus after reading Isaiah 53 and examining the Jewish Scriptures.
Despite facing social criticism and rejection, Yarden remained steadfast in her faith. One day, feeling isolated and praying for guidance, she received a pamphlet inviting her to a local Messianic congregation. This connection provided the support and community she needed to deepen her faith.
Yarden holds a BA in Biblical Studies and an MA in Human Services Counseling: Marriage and Family. As the Women’s Ministry Counselor, her journey from questioning to conviction equips her to provide compassionate and insightful guidance to women in their faith journeys and personal lives.
Yarden and Peter have been in ministry together since their marriage in 2006. They share a passion for serving others and guiding them in their faith journeys. Together, they homeschool their daughter, embodying their commitment to faith, family, and ministry.
Johnny Nasser’s journey with Jesus Christ is not just a testament to his faith but a story of miraculous intervention. Born into an Arab Christian family in Galilee, Israel, surrounded by his faith and heritage.
At the age of three, Johnny fell seriously ill, his fever soaring dangerously high. Rushed to the hospital, his condition worsened en route, leading to his heart stopping in the ambulance. Through the skilled efforts of the medical team, his heartbeats were restored, but Johnny slipped into a coma that lasted for several weeks.
The prognosis was grim. Doctors delivered the heartbreaking news that Johnny’s liver had failed, and they saw no medical solution. Even the leading professor, pointing skyward, declared that Johnny’s only hope lay in God.
Fueled by unwavering faith, Johnny’s parents, alongside their small church community, turned to prayer, seeking divine intervention. And miraculously, Johnny defied all odds. Awakening from his coma, he stood up and began conversing with his astonished parents.
Since that pivotal moment of divine intervention, Johnny’s journey with Jesus Christ has been one of profound significance. It’s a journey marked by gratitude, resilience, and an unshakable faith that continues to guide him in every aspect of his life.
